War Hysteria: Modi Government’s Tactic to Distract from Its Failures
India today finds itself trapped in a deep economic, social, and political quagmire. To escape it, the country needs serious reforms, national unity, and a leadership focused on public welfare. But instead, the path chosen by Narendra Modi’s government is not only misguided—it is dangerously deceptive.
Unemployment is at record highs. Millions of citizens struggle for basic sustenance. Educational institutions are crumbling, and healthcare is woefully inadequate. The youth are slipping into frustration, despair, and sometimes violence. Yet instead of addressing these urgent challenges, the government has chosen to promote a narrative rooted in war, hostility, and fear.
The Modi regime persistently pushes the idea that India’s poverty and deprivation will end only when it defeats its neighboring countries—Pakistan, Bangladesh, and Nepal. By portraying these nations as enemies, it sells the illusion that regional dominance is the key to national prosperity. It’s an emotional, but deeply unrealistic message being drilled into the public consciousness.
The reality is stark: no military pressure on neighbors can cure India’s internal decay. War cries will not turn slums into homes, nor fill the stomachs of the hungry. They will not improve schools, nor stock empty hospitals with medicine.
This narrative is an old political ploy: when a government fails to deliver, it invents external enemies to divert attention from domestic problems. Modi’s government is doing precisely this—keeping the public occupied with manufactured threats while real issues go unaddressed.
The critical question is:
Will defeating Pakistan fix India’s economy?
Will pressuring Bangladesh generate jobs for India’s unemployed millions?
The answer is obvious—no.
The Indian public must come to terms with this truth: the real war is not against its neighbors, but against poverty, ignorance, injustice, and corruption. And if India invests its resources in social welfare instead of military bravado, it might actually rise as a prosperous and respected nation.
Otherwise, the current path leads only to destruction, not only for india but for her neighbourers.
